Objective To investigate whether the MRI MFGRE sequence R2*value can assist in the differential diagnosis of the cystic renal carcinoma from atypical renal cyst.Methods This prospective study was institutional review board approved,and written informed consent was obtained from all patients.45 patients (20 cystic renal carcinoma and 25 atypical renal cyst) underwent 12-channel abdominal coil MFGRE sequence scan (GE 1.5 T HD Propeller,USA) and were proved through operation.
