Background The Crohns Disease Activity Index (CDAI) has been criticized due to heavy weighting on subjective clinical symptoms.High sensitive C-reactive protein (hsCRP) and endoscopic lesions are objective measures of inflammation.We investigated the relationships between clinical disease activity, CRP normalization and mucosal healing in Crohns disease (CD) on thiopurines therapy.
