Alcohol abuse can harm the body in numerous ways.It has been recognized as a cause of chronic liver diseases, disorder, cardiomyopathy, and so on.To investigate the mechanism of alcohol damage will be conducive to develope effective methods to treat and prevent these diseases. In this study, a LC/MS-based metabolomic method was used to compare the metabolites differences in mice of excessive alcohol consumption.Twelve mice were randomized in two groups. The control group (six mice) was kept under a regular condition and provided with food and water ad libitum. The alcohol group (six mice) was achieved by daily administration of grain liquor [2].After mice were sacrificed, the liver, kidney and heart organs were collected and their metabolites were extracted.
