A tumor-targeting nanodelivery system has been developed comprising a self-assembled,biodegradable, cationic liposomal nanoparticle, which bears targeting molecules that home to cancer cells via the elevated levels of the transferrin receptor (TtR) that exist on the surface of many types of tumor cells.
