Suppressor of cytokine signaling 3 (SOCS3),a negative regulator of the JAK/STAT pathway,plays a vital role in the regulation of host immune response.Here,we demonstrated that enterovirus 71 (EV71) infection activates the expression of SOCS3,which in turn facilitates EV71 replication through two different mechanisms.
