Objective To explore the main effective cells and the pathogenesis of pre-engraftment syndrome (PES) in patients with hematological malignancies after umbilical cord blood transplantation Methods We selected 26 patients with PES and 6 patients without PES as control;they were all treated with umbilical cord blood transplantation after myeloablative conditioning regimens.
