Saving energy in residential and commercial building sectors and automotive industry is a major global socioeconomic challenge in energy efficiency.Substantial savings in energy consumption without compromising the comfort aspect can be realized if one could minimize the air conditioning load specifically.According to the international energy council(IEC),the average energy exchange synopsis “heat-cooling loss” in a standard residential building is of the order of 5,13,16,20 and 30%through the thermal bridges,roof,walls,air conditioning and windows respectively.
