Purpose:We established a method for image-based diagnosis of cerebral apoplexy by developing aphantom that could visualize cerebral apoplexy using X-ray CT imaging,while evaluating the imagingconditions.We recently improved the contrast of acute-stage cerebral infarction using virtualmonochromatic images obtained by dual-energy CT.We measured radiation doses using the newlydeveloped phantom while assessing its potential clinical application.
