It is tough to monitor the wave-induced seabed liquefaction through pore water and soil pressure sensors.Sensors to measure horizontal soil pressure in the stratum are generally installed on the side of probe rod.The vertical soil pressure is calculated based on the coefficient of lateral pressure. In addition, the pore water pressure would not lead to the extinction of effective stress while testing the liquefaction of the silty soil.To study the features of pore water and soil pressure data is important for the monitoring of silty soil liquefaction. In this paper, pore water pressure and soil pressure of Yellow River subaqueous delta were monitored, and flume experiment was carried out to obtain the pressure data.Through the comparison of monitoring data and experimental data, the monitoring characteristics of silty seabed liquefaction under wave loading were acquired. For the field monitoring during the storm wave load, the monitoring data indicated an overall-rise and large amplitude fluctuation, the seabed liquefaction can be determined, consequently at the late stage of liquefaction, the probe rod was shaken.
