Objective Waterchannels, also named aquaporin (AQP), play crucial roles in water homeostasis in different cells.The present study was designed to investigate the expression profile of AQPs in human embryos and the roles AQP3 and AQP7 of in preimplantation embryonic development.Materials & Methods The expression of AQP mRNAs in human oocytes and embryos were examined using RT-PCR.AQP3 and AQP7 mRNA expression in human early embryos was detected with RT-PCR analysis.
