In the past decades, the major brazing method for oxide ceramics is active brazing.Ti Active elements, usually Ti,are added in to the brazing filler alloys and react with the oxide substrates, resulting in formation of a transitional Ti-O or Ti-Al-O compound layer at the alloy/ceramic interfaces.Bonding between the alloys and the substrates are achieved by this reaction. However,as the reaction usually takes place at a temperature higher than 750 degree centigrade, low temperature brazing of these oxide ceramics is still a challenge.
