Mapping of oil content quantitative trait loci and a study of organ effects on seed oil accumulation

Seed oil content is always a significant character for rapeseed cultivars.However,little progress in elevating oil content was achieved in recent years.In this study,we identified three high oil content (HO) lines (zy036,6F313,and 61616) from different origins,which seed oil content were all over 50%.In zy036,9 quantitative trait loci (QTLs) of oil content have been clarified by Sun et al.(2012).In this study,we identified a total of 6 QTLs in 6F313 and 5 QTLs in 61616.Among them,QTLs from A10a,C5,and C6 in 6F313 and A8 in 61616 could explain over 15%of the phenotypic variation,which were also different from those of zy036.
