The history about the modern bridges in Korea dates back over 100 years to when the first modem bridge was built over the Han River in 1900.However,the oldest bridge does not exist any longer but the other bridge that was replaced in 1944 at the same location still exists.And the replaced bridge has been included in the list of National Register of modern heritage structure in Korea in 2006.Also,some other modern bridges were nominated as Modem Registered cultural heritage in Korea.Not long after the nomination program on modem bridge structures started,some regrettable news has been spread out.One example has something to do with the first modem bridge.
