Polyisocyanurate-polyurethane foams (PlR) have been widely used for insulation in construction and industrial applications due to their superior mechanical properties and low thermal conductivity.The common flame rctardants used in PIR until now are phospho-halogcnated compounds[1,2].However, those retardants generally cause dense and toxic smokes during burning.The layered double hydroxide (LDH) arc anion clays,which consist ofa stackiug of positive hydroxylated layers separated by interlayered anionic species and water molecules.
