Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect and safty of high-risk and aged over 80 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia.Methods plasmakenitic resection of prostate was used to treat 37 case of high-risk and aged over 80 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia.Results the operation time was 30～90min.averagc 48min all patients were voiding unobstructedly.no blood transfusion.no transurethral resection syndrome and true incontinence occllrred.Conclusion plasnalcednitic resection of prostate was a safe and effective surgical treatment for senior and high-risk patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia.
