Glycerol distillation residue is a saliferous liquid biomass resource, which contains abundant organic matter and metallic element components. The traditional process method has some disadvantages, including environmental contamination, high energy consumption and complex operating process.Considering the high thermal value of the glycerol distillation residue, in this paper, dynamic chain heat exchanger system was proposed. The influence of temperature of glycerol distillation residue on the gas product distribution and residual salt contents was investigated, and the properties of the residual salt were analyzed. The results indicate that the residual salt decreased with the increase of pyrolysis temperature, while the gas components released quickly. The salt components (mainly Na, K, Si, Ca) reached a minimum content of 12.03% at 650 ℃,can be recycled. The outlet gas from the pyrolysis reaction, which containing 19.17% of H2, 50.72% of CO,14.80% of CH4, can be used as fuel.
