本文阐述了一种在鞍山钢铁公司实际应用的光纤传输多种业务系统,及其主要组成部分的工作原理和技术参数. 系统中使用的光端机采用PFM-IM方式,能在一条光纤上同时传送一路彩色图像、一路音频和一路数据,配上各种必要的终端设备,可进行工业电视、广播电视、会议电视、数据传输等多种服务。本系统由10条光缆干线、39条实用光纤、约40套光收发端机、2个光分路器、6个中继器等组成光纤传输信道。用24台微型计算机、可对各专业厂的约500个工业电视摄像机分别实施调度会议、公司总调度室、专业厂调度室的三级调度监控。
