High-perfomance organic semiconductors are key components of fabricating electronic and optoelectronic devices.A series of symmetric and asymmetric 1,6,7,12-tetrachloroperylene bisimide(PBICls)modified siloxane substituent at the imide nitrogen atom were synthesized.The effect of different siloxane substituents on their liquid crystal structure,thermotropic and lyotropic behaviors,optical properties were discussed in detail.In addition.the ethoxysilyl groups of PBICls were polycondensed catalysted by NH3 or acetic acid vapor.The oriented films of PBICls and their optical properties also were characterized.
