　　Resistive type superconducting fault current limiter (RSFCL) based on YBCO coated conductor is expected to be an effective means to ease the burden of DC circuit breaker when a short circuit fault occurs.In application to the HVDC system,RSFCL will suffer higher fault current rising speed than that in AC condition.This fault current may cause excess heat generation,resulting in degradation of YBCO coated conductor.
