Ammonia borane(H3N-BH3,AB) is considered an ideal material for chemical hydrogen storage due to its very high H density(19.6 weight ％H) and has attracted much research attention.We chose a metal-free method to approach the activation of AB,applying unsaturated organic compounds baring polarized double bonds such as imines and polar olefins as the hydrogen acceptor or the dehydrogenation catalyst.
