　　Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is the most lethal of the common urologic cancer and associated with a poor prognosis.Although many reports have investigated the tumor suppressor protein tyrosine phosphatase non-receptor type 6 (PTPN6 or SHP-1) in hematopoietic cells, comparatively few reports have looked at the biological importance of SHP-1 in solid tumors.
