7 described Teraponidae species were recorded in China.This study, 5 species from 4 genera of Teraponidae were collected and partial sequences of 657 bp from mtDNA cytochrome oxidase subunit I(COI) of the 5 species were determined.There were 170 variable sites with 79 were parsimony-informative.The range of the genetic distance was 0.130-0.199 based on the K-2-P model.
