力学性能是结构材料的主要使用性能。对于功能材料来说,除了物理性能以外,往往也对力学性能提出一定的要求。因此,材料的力学性能或力学行为,已成为物理材料学的重要组成部分。在结构材料中,强度与塑韧性是互相联系而又互相制约的。根据零件或构件的服役条件,寻求强度与塑韧性的合理配合,就能实现材料性能的优化。
