We have introduced photocatalytic characteristics of H2Pc/PTCBI in aerated conditions using its combination with a self-standing fluorocarbon polymer (Nation 112) film [1].The trilayer structure of Nation 112 (50 μm)/H2Pc (50 nm)/PTCBI (50 nm) as shown in Figure 1.Trimethylamine (TMA) was chosen as the reactant, since it is a typical gaseous pollutant resulting from the degradation of fish protein and industrial waste water.This organophotocatalyst trilayer is active in both the gas phase and aqueous phase; for example, 3.3 × 10-5 mol/L of aqueous TMA was quantitatively oxidized to CO2 within 40 min irradiation.
