We have developed an universal cell-based assay platform for GPCRs with over 160 stably engineered cell lines for cell-based primary screening,and launched industrys first complete fimctional GPCRProfilerTM service.The novel assay leverages Millipores ChemiScreenTM GPCR expression technology,which funnels all GPCR signaling through a common and robust realout for FLIPR calcium mobilization assay.We have further developed dozens of multi-parameter cell-based 2nd assays for GPCRs through G protein independent activation,such as ERK phosphorylation and quantitative receptor internalization.Those 2nd assays provide accurate and sensitive tools for SAR using either native or over-expressed GPCRs.Those 2nd GPCR assays are based on Millipores FlowCellectTM antibody-based cell signaling kits and Millipores 96 well high throughput bench-top Guava flow cytometers.
