Metabolite fingerprint analysis by 1H NMR spectroscopy were used to identify potential biomarkers capable of distinguishing different angelica sinensis samples from different growth stages,aimed at establishing quality control code protocol based on biochemical phenotype.Principal component analyses (PCA) of 1H NMR spectra reliably discriminated among the angelica sinensis at different growth stages samples,demonstrated the potential utility of metabolomics in the natural health angelica sinensis.
