An affinity chromatographic support based on gigaporous polymer microspheres was explored for rapid separation of IgG from human serum.This gigaporous sphere was a copolymer of glycidyl methylacrylate and divinyl benzene,which had been modified with dextran for eliminating unspecific adsorption of proteins prior to immobilization of ligands.
