The aging and damage of Spermatogonial Stem Cells (SSCs), as the foundation of the spermatogenesis, leads to the descend quality of sperm.A large amount of environment factors surround us could cause such damages, among which acrolein is one of the key factor.Due to smoking, air pollution, chemotherapy, especially in the aging and unsaturated fatty acid peroxidation, acrolein can be produced easily.The increase of environmental pollution, the emphasized intake of unsaturated fatty acid and the average male reproductive age increase and make the SSCs more susceptible to crolein.
