　　Bubbles in curved pipe flows are subject of buoyancy force, drag forces by the main and secondary flows, and centrifugal force, which all affect the formation and traveling path of the bubbles.Here we report an experimental study on air bubbles in water flows in a coiled pipe,for which the gravity is in the plane of the coil.
