  Since 2005,Korean government has strictly promoted food waste recycling policy and derived some outcomes although there are problems such as low demand of recycled products and inconvenient discharge.Food waste disposer had been prohibited to be used due to the concern of negative impact on sewage system in Korea.Starting with a pilot project of Seoul in 2009,food waste disposer has attracted attention by many researchers and local governments.
