A Carica papaya L.plant exhibiting downward curling of leaves and yellow vein were observed near Sanya, Hainan Province, China during 2014.To identify possible begomoviruses, total DNA was extracted from three symptomatic samples (P1, P2 and P3) using the CTAB method to amplify part sequence of DNA-A and DNA-B using the primer pair PA/PB and PBL lv2040/PCRc 1, respectively.
