Rice(Oryza sativa)is a model grass crop that feeds the world.To understand the mechanism of male reproduction of rice and to assist in improvement of the hybrid rice production system,we used various approaches such as forward and reverse genetics,biochemistry,cell biology and more to investigate the molecular mechanism underlying the regulators for the development of male gametophytes within the flower,the sporophytic reproductive structure.
