Micelles self-assembled from amphiphilic copolymers with a hydrophilic shell and hydrophobic core are usually used for loading hydrophobic anticancer drugs via hydrophobic-hydrophobic interaction, and there are several of them undergoing Phase Ⅲ human clinical investigation [1].Polyphosphoesters are widely studied biodegradable polymers possessing adjustable physical and chemical properties, which make them attractive in the field of nanomedicine.Although several groups have demonstrated that polyphosphoesters could be a suitable choice for a delivery system as a hydrophilic component and that polyphosphoesters with isopropyl side groups exhibit thermosensitivity (rLCST),few studies are directed to evaluate hydrophobic polyphosphoesters for construction of novel drug delivery systems [2].
