  Continuous silicon carbide fiber reinforced silicon carbide matrix composites(SiCf/SiC)have been considered as promising candidates for nuclear materials because of their potential application for high performance reactors and superior safety characteristics compared to metallic materials.In this paper,three-dimensional(3D)SiCf/SiC composites were fabricated by the polymer impregnation and pyrolysis(PIP)method with different pyrolysis temperatures(1100℃-1600℃).
