Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease of CNS, resulting in demyelination, axon loss, and development of disability.Autoantibodies (autoAbs) in MS is one of the mechanisms to be known and one of the tools to illustrate the autoagression.Being identified at the pre-early stages of demyelination, such autoAbs dominate during the whole course of the disease.There are three groups of autoAbs to be specific for MS patients, i.e., (i) anti-myelin Abs (antiMBP, anti-MOG and anti-neurofilament), (ii) non-myelin type Abs (anti-HSP, etc.), and (iii) autoAbs demonstrating different levels of specificity and functionality, e.g., catalytic A bs (abzymes).
