Printing and dyeing is a traditional livelihood industry in China, with a large proportion of sewage and energy consumption in it relatively.Compared with the U.S., high energy consumption and low efficiency in finishing and dyeing is the situation that China is facing with.Thus, there is a potential in energy and water saving to improve the performance, as people lay their eyes on ecology, pollution prevention, green peace and regulations.Responsible Supply Initiative is a part of ‘Clean by Design’ project.It uses economic and efficient ways by the power of companies and market driving to improve our environment.RSI is widely applied and verified in activities and programs used in brand businesses cooperating with their strategy suppliers, and RSI does realize the promotion of efficiency and money-saving for industries.
