The effect of the system of innate immunity in bacterial infections depends on the coordinated effects on pathogen its cellular elementsmonocytes/macrophages and neutrophils.It is shown that Y.pseudotuberculosis to the presence of virulence plasmid pYV, which encodes the type Ⅲ protein secretion system of Yop, inhibits the phagocytic activity of macrophages and causes apoptosis of these cells and neutrophils.
