The emission of carbon dioxide (CO2) from the combustion of fossil fuels has been identified as the major contributor to global warming and climate change.Capturing CO2 by forming hydrate is one of the attractive technologies for reducing greenhouse effect.The energy consumption was estimated for CO2 capture processes by the formation of tetra-n-butyl ammonium fluoride (TBAF) semi-clathrate hydrates.
