OBJECTIVE To investigate the potential protec tive effects of corilagin on tert-butyl hydroperoxide (t-BHP)-induced oxidative stress injury in N9 murine microglia cells and elucidate the underlying mechanisms.METHODS Cells were pretreated with corilagin for 24 h and then exposed to t-BHP to induce cytotoxicity.MTT assay and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) leakage were used to evaluate the protective effects of corilagin.Cellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) and mito chondrial membrane potential (MMP) were determined using fluorescent probe-DFCH-DA and Rh123 respectively.
