The new approach of an ONLINE training course-a joint effort made by INWENT,Germany and the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association (CPMA),under the initiation of both parties,started its preparatory phase in the year of 2005,based on the critical situation of HIV/AIDS in China.Physicians working for hospitals and CDCs at the county level in the Chinese provincial level,are in urgent need of capacity building regarding mindset,attitude,knowledge update and practice regarding HIV/AIDS,prevention and intervention.This approach is of great significance while dealing with PLWHA,high risk groups like IDU′S,commercial sex workers,youth,immigrants,floating population in specific and also the general population.
