Big data bring challenges for algorithm design and analysis.Algorithms for big data analysis are required to handle the volume and velocity features.Meeting these difficulties,some new algorithms design and analysis techniques are proposed.This talk shows the widely applications of big data algorithms and gives an overview of techniques for big data algorithm design and analysis including sub-linear algorithms,I/O efficient algorithms,parallel algorithms as well as crowd sourcing algorithms.
