Based on the problem that loss seeding compensation for rapeseed pneumatic precision metering device, a solenoid reseeding device is to design and the relationship model for the reseed rotation speed of solenoid reseeding device and loss sowing coefficient has been developed.With the help of discrete element method software EDEM, the main operating parameters and structural composition of solenoid reseeding device were analyzed and optimized.The test for the relationships between seeding quantity and rotation speed of solenoid reseeding device, results showed that: the solenoid-diameter of solenoid reseeding device was 4mm.The correlation coefficient of reseeding quantity and the rotation speed from 25rpm to 180rpm was 0.99.The equivalent reseeding quantity by each hole was between 1.7 and 1.9 particles and its variation coefficient was less than 4%.There were no mechanical damage to the seeds and no blocked hole.Combining the characteristic of seeding quantity for solenoid reseeding device with loss sowing detection by time changed window in real-time, the relationship model about the reseed rotation speed of solenoid reseeding device and loss sowing coefficient was established.This achieved a variable reseed in the current reseed time window.The test was also carried out to achieve loss sowing detection and reseed at the same time of pneumatic rapeseed precision metering device with 40 holes.Experiment results showed that while the rotating speed of pneumatic precision metering device was 15rpm~30rpm, the standard distance of reseed was less than 0.8m and the comprehensive missing rate of the seeds was 0.This study makes it effective to reduce loss sowing of small diameter precision seed metering device such as rapeseed and improve the quality of sowing.
