This study is part of our drug discovery program to identify biologically active compounds from medicinal plants.Justicia procumbens L.(Acanthaceae) is a medicinal plant known as "Juechuang" in China.The plant has been used as traditional Chinese medicine for treatment of fever, pain, and cancer.To identify the bioactive compounds in the plant, we collected the plant materials from Fujian province.
