At present,instruments used in mining surveying are designed suitable for centering above point of engineering survey on the ground at daytime.There is so much inconvenience caused when these instruments are used in centering under point of engineering survey of underground or tunnel with poor visual environment.By taking several patented technologies,the author of this paper modified conventional total station and observation target to form a new & special measuring system for mine surveying.This measuring system can meet the requirement of special working condition.
