The development of an effective proteomic technology is essential for the identification of diagnostic and therapeutic biomarkers.Recently,a number of different protein array technologies have been developed.The most extensive studied example was based on the antibody-antigen interaction.Others include protein-protein,protein-nucleic acid and protein-small molecule interactions.To our knowledge,there is no technology that can detect proteins based on the amino acid sequences.
