Thermoplastic honeycomb panel is a kind of newly developed sandwich panel, with polypropylene honeycomb core and continuous fiberglass reinforced polypropylene sheet as skin.The effects of skin ply sequences, core thickness and manufacturing process on mechanical properties of honeycomb panel have been analyzed.With the increase of core thickness, the shear and compression properties of honeycomb panel decrease while the flexural properties increase.When the core thickness remains unchanged, adding the skin layers or increasing honeycomb wall thickness can improve the flexural properties.
