Droplet-based microfluidic systems using liquid metal as the dispersed phase have received much attention in various MEMS fields including microelectronic chip cooling,chemical reaction and drug delivery.Due to high electrical and thermal conductivity, low evaporation of liquid metal, these microfluidic systems combining advantages of both droplet based systems and liquid metal based systems can provide fast, high-efficient microfluidic analysis or assays.
