Objectives The aim was to study the relationship between serum uric acid (SUA) and heart function (HF) in agedness with congestive heart failure (CHF).Methods 100 elderly patients with CHF were divided into 4 groups (from class Ⅰ to Ⅳ) according to the New York Heart Association (NYHA) functional classes.Total SUA concentrations were measured by automatic biochemical analyzer, and were compared between groups by analysis of variance.
