  Fluorocarbon chains are both hydrophobic and lipophobic.Modification of polymers with fluorocarbon chains improves their transfection efficacy through increased cellular uptake,endosomal escape and serum-resistance[1].These fluorocarbon chains have high tendency to associate with each other due to the well-known fluorophilic effect.Introduction of fluorocarbon chains to polymers can obtain specific assembled structures[2].These features encourage us to design self-assembled fluorodendrimers and use them as efficient gene vectors.
