Carrier injection barriers at organic/electrode contacts are important parameters that have significant influences on performance of all organic electronic devices.From a device designer point of view, it is desirable and important to be able to estimate this parameter fairly accurately before fabricating the device.Several methods used for estimation of the metal/organic injection barrier are summarized and discussed.A practical approach for estimating this parameter with minimal experimental data will be presented.
